We are approaching the culmination of months of planning, hard work, and collaboration as the DAEurope Community Support Vehicle for Ukraine reaches its completion. Next week, two Ukrainian volunteers will pick up the Support Vehicle and drive it to Kiev where it will be donated to a local firefighting group for local community needs.
This vehicle represents the best of what DAE is about, finding creative ways to provide aid to effected areas, even though we may be far away.

This vehicle represents the best of what DAE is about, finding creative ways to provide aid to effected areas, even though we may be far away. We would like to thank Diamond Fabrications UK for their incredible work kitting out this Land Rover and turning it into what you see today. We would also like to thank Mark Amesbury for coordinating the purchase, upgrades, and driving the support vehicle from the UK to Prague! Also a special thanks goes to the Neuss Germany Rotary Club as their donation of €10,000 made this all happen.
We also would of course like to thank DAE Ops Trustee Stuart and DAEurope Chair Irena for overseeing this project from the beginning: coordinating everything-vehicle and equipment, donations, and delivery. Lastly, thank you to Michal Sláma of RC Pardubice for the final delivery of the Support Vehicle to Kiev.
