The November 26 earthquake in Albania killed 56 people, sent hundreds to the hospital and left thousands homeless. The epicenter was in the port city of Durres, about 36 kilometers from the capital Tirana. Stuart Amesbury (Trustee of DAE) and Alan Rasquinha visited Durres and the hardest-hit areas, in order to evaluate how DAE, along with local Rotarians, could provide aid and support.
